Jah Wobble’s Invaders of The Heart

Jah Wobble is an English musician, composer, and writer whose work has consistently pushed beyond the boundaries of post-punk into dub, world music, and experimental sound. Emerging in the late 1970s as a founding member of Public Image Ltd, his heavy, melodic bass style drew deeply on reggae and dub, reshaping the role of bass guitar in alternative music.

After leaving Public Image Ltd, he developed a wide-ranging solo career, most notably through Jah Wobble’s Invaders of the Heart. This long-running project explores global musical traditions and cross-cultural collaboration, reflecting his belief in music as a form of cultural exchange rather than fixed genre.
