Gerry McAvoy is a bass guitarist best known for his long tenure with Rory Gallagher's band, with whom he played from 1971 until 1991. Gerry now plays with Band Of Friends. This weekend he is at the 20th anniversary of the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival.
